The car suffered 80 per cent damage
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car in flames in St Mary Bourne yesterday night.
A crew from Whitchurch were called at 8.04pm to the vehicle found "well alight" in Egbury Road.
The car suffered 80 per cent damage, but police were not called to the incident as no suspicions were raised.
Firefighters used one hose reel and one set of breathing apparatus to put out the fire, and left the scene at around 9pm.
