Whitchurch was decorated in its ghostly finery on Saturday as the town transformed into a spooky setting for Halloween.
Over 100 houses and business produced displays as part of the first Whitchurch Halloween Spooktacular, allowing everyone to celebrate the occasion in a socially-distanced way.
Families took to the streets to admire the lanterns and haunting images residents had put together, including spiders crawling up the walls of houses, ghostly guitarists and of course, plenty of pumpkins.
The event was organised by the Whitchurch Community Live Events team, who provided maps and activity sheets so the community could walk around and enjoy all the displays from 4pm to 11pm.
There were also awards on offer for those getting into the Halloween spirit, with prizes available for the best display, best pumpkin and fancy dress, with lots of kids (and big kids) took the opportunity to dress for the occasion.
Lizzie Lewis said: "Whitchurch has done it again! Thank you so much to everyone involved – what a brilliant effort and we enjoyed it so much! The weather was so appalling all day so it seemed as though Halloween would be a washout but it all turned out beautifully, with a blue moon as well!"
Izzy Kennard agreed, saying: "Thank you so much to everyone who has organised this Halloween event! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!"
