With a number of those at Foxcotte Park last week surprised at Ike Robertson’s lethargic showing against New Street, having scored four in two matches before hand, Town boss Neil Benson solved the puzzle during the week.

“Ike was feeling very rough during the game and it transpires that he has spent most of this week in hosptal having suffered appendicitis.

‘Sadly it looks like that is his season done but the news surpised us all here and we wish him a speedy recovery.”

Town should be at full strength for the top of the table clash with Petersfield Town at Love Lane tomorrow and Benson added: “It should be a great advert for Wessex League football and we hope as many Town supporters as possible make the journey down to Petersfield.”

There is a mini bus going from the Portway and anyone interested in travelling should e-mail barbara.paddock@sparsholt.ac.uk.

Space is limited so it will be a first come first serve basis with the bus leaving the Portway at 11.45am.
