THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (B3048 CHURCH STREET, ST MARY BOURNE) ORDER 2014
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council proposes to make the following Order:-
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from proceeding along Church Street, St Mary Bourne as indicated by traffic signs.
Reason for Road Closure: The Council is satisfied that all traffic be prohibited from proceeding along Church Street, St Mary Bourne, from the junction of Derry Down and the property Moores View to allow for a sewer pipe to be re-laid,
Diversion Route: B3400 Harroway / Walworth Road / London Road / A3093 Churchill Way / A343 Newbury Road / B3048 Stoke Road / Stoke Lane / Church Street
Duration of Order: The Order will come into effect on 22 October 2014 for 3 months. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the road closure will be in place for 3 weeks only). The exemptions under S 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road traffic exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and amendment) Regulations 2011 apply to this order.
