THE owners of the Post Office in Enham Alamein have received a poem from a friend after an overnight burglary.
As previously reported, on Monday, November 13, police were called at 1.32am to a report of a burglary at Enham Village Store and Post Office, in Newbury Road.
A large quantity of cigarettes was reported stolen. Police have said that no arrests have been made.
A friend of Enham Village Store and Post Office owners, Tim and Leslie Francis, wrote the couple a poem to encourage members of the community to utilise the shop and show their support, during a difficult time following the burglary.

The poem reads:
There’s a little shop in Enham, an Aladdins Cave of treasure,
Leslie and Tim who run it, they’ve been there forever,
But just a week or two ago, at the dead of night
Some filthy scumbags broke right in, and gave them such a fright
They did a lot of damage, they stole a load of stock
From these gorgeous people, who work around the clock
So if you want to help these guys, to get back on their feet
Let’s spread the word about them, let’s Facebook, Insta, Tweet
Let’s make our way to Enham, to buy our Christmas stuff
And put a smile back on their face, they’ve been through quite enough.
