PACK Gordon James Died peacefully at home in Wherwell on 22 March 2021, aged 96 years. A well respected and much loved Andover GP for 38 years. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him. A private funeral service will take place. Donations, if desired, in Gordon's memory, direct to the National Trust. Any enquiries to funeral directors S & J Maddocks.

Very sad to learn that Dr Pack had passed away, he was quite literally the first doctor I met. I had quite nasty childhood illness , I can still remember his home visits with the old fashioned case full of little drawers. Might not even have been here without his care.

So sad to hear about Dr Pack. He was our family GP for all his time in Andover, helped with the births of our children and also saved my husband's life, when he diagnosed his polio. He was a lovely gentle man.
