SLADE Julian Roy Passed away on 20th June 2022, aged 75 years. Beloved husband of Pauline, married 52 years, father to Matthew and James, and devoted grandfather. Born in Bournemouth, Julian worked for 35 years at HM Prison Service living in Dorchester but enjoyed 19 years of retirement in Yeovil and more recently in Andover. He volunteered for many years with The Scout Association in Dorset holding a number of senior positions and most recently as District Commissioner for Andover Scouts and Training Advisor for Hampshire. Julian was honoured to receive his Silver Acorn Service Award in April 2022. Memorial Service at St Ann's Hall, Suffolk Road, Andover, SP10 2JD on Saturday 23rd July 2022 at 2pm, followed by refreshments. No flowers. Donations if desired to Countess of Brecknock Hospice via Just Giving (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/julianbrecknock) or at his memorial service.
