A NEW year bad-hair-day fairytale is coming to Andover in January.
Proteus Theatre Company will be performing its new production of the classic story of Rapunzel at The Lights.
And two lucky readers have the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show on Saturday, 3 January.
Rapunzel has a real problem with her hair! She can’t do a thing with it and feels like it has a life of its own!
The story is about a young girl with an overbearing mother, a prince of a boyfriendwho suffers fromvertigo, and of course, her very badly behaved hair.
This turns into a hair-raising, foot tapping, high flying “wash and blow dry” of a show, complete with lots of music, puppets, gravity-defying actors who make full use of the fabulous stage set and then a guarantee of yet another bad hair day.
Proteus is a Basingstoke-based, award-winning theatre company formed in 1981 with a long history of creating quality work and producing a programme of events that serves audiences locally, nationally and, since 2009, internationally.
Tickets to see Rapunzel are £6.50 and £7.50.
