AN Andover firm is celebrating ten years of success.
Members of staff from EMPRA, which specialises in marketing and PR for the education sector, celebrated the milestone by cutting a commemorative cake.
The business, whose south east HQ is based in High Street, was set up by Ruth Sparkes back in 2004.
Having previously been the head of marketing and design at the-then Crickdale College, the 45-year-old, who lives in the town, took the plunge and set up the company.
Having added a host of other colleges to her client base from Bournemouth, Poole and Croydon, as well as another Andover-based firm, Be Wiser Insurance, EMPRA now employs 11 people – and is looking to grow even more with new offices in the pipeline.
EMPRA has already won a number of awards, most recently the Gold Best For PR award for work undertaken alongside Croydon College.
Ruth was also featured in the Sunday Times within the last month and now the expanding business is poised to move into new premises in the High Street.
