FOUR people have been fined a total of £700 for unlicensed fishing in a Longparish river.
Macauley Hollis, 20, of Crown Villas, Ludgershall, was fined £320 after magistrates proved his guilt on two occasions in September in his absence last week. He was also ordered to pay costs of £127 and a victim surcharge of £22.
Mel Relph, 21, of Wood Park, Ludgershall, was also proved guilty in absence to one offence in September.
Relph was fined £220 and ordered to pay £127 costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
Daniel Colby, 21, of Andover Road, Ludgershall, and Daniel Knowles, 25, of Campbell Close, Grateley, pleaded guilty one offence in September and were both fined £80 and ordered to pay costs of £50 and a victim surcharge of £20.
