ONE of the biggest events in the town’s calendar returns to the streets of Andover this weekend.
Andover Carnival will take place on Sunday, July 21, with the action kicking off at Vigo Park at midday.
A variety of local acts will take to the stage and there will also be an array of arts and crafts and food and drinks stalls, fairground rides plus a beer tent.
The main procession will then begin at 4pm, starting on Weyhill Road by the railway bridge and making its way towards the town centre before finishing up in Vigo Park. The event will then continue until 9pm.
This year’s carnival is in aid of Andover Young Carers and the I Can Therapy Centre and the event is running with an “open theme” to allow those with floats to really get creative.
Currently there are more than 30 entries on board.
