ANDOVER residents will have the chance to see the town's firefighters in action as part of a family fun day event this weekend.
Firefighters will put on displays and attractions, along with a visit from its special fire dogs, which will take place at Andover Fire Station on Sunday, September 8.
As well as displays, there will be stalls, refreshments and fundraising for a number of charities, along with a dunk tank and a house where people can go and test themselves spotting potential hazards.
There will also be raffle prizes, bric-a-brac and teddies for youngsters to play with during the day, which will take place between 11am and 4pm.
The open day will be raising funds for The Firefighters’ Charity and Naomi House and Jacks Place.
