EX-LOVE Island star and international basketball player Ovie Soko has backed an Andover man’s charity bike ride across America.
Ovie Soko presented Andrew Cattle with a signed jersey after inviting him to attend the Great Britain vs Germany EuroBasket 2021 qualifier in Newcastle last month.
Andrew is gearing up to cycle 4,000 miles across the United States in the name of two very special people this summer.
The 52-year-old Ocado employee will travel from Daytona Beach, in Florida, through 11 states to Silverton, in Oregon.
He will be doing so in memory of his step-father, Keith, and a young girl named Auvie, who has a rare genetic neurological disorder called Pitt Hopkins Syndrome and who he has previously raised funds for.
Andrew will be raising funds for three charities – the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, the Pitt Hopkins Foundation and Mind.
