ANDOVER town council has announced the closure of its offices to the general public.
The offices, at 68B High Street, have been closed “until further notice” in a bid to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
A notice on the authority’s website reads: “The town council is taking all precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
“As such, for the foreseeable future, the town council offices will be closed to members of the public.”
The notice also adds that there will not be a phone service operating for the time being.
However, officers will still be working and can be contacted via the following email address:

The notice adds: “If you need further information about the coronavirus please visit the government website: www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response
“Further updates will be given as and when possible.”
