The people of Andover were once again treated to two days of dancing spectacle as the annual Showcase event held by the FL Dance school took to the stage of the Lights.
One of the last events held at the theatre before it shut down because of the coronavirus outbreak, Showcase 2020 wowed audiences last week after more than 100 members from the local community put on a show to remember.
Organised by mother-daughter “partners-in-crime” team Maz Rouse and Emmeline Frost-Langley, the show featured participants from four years old to adults.
The sell-out show featured fabulous costumes and 32 brilliant dance routines, including jazz, latin, street musical theatre, contemporary and commercial.
The show, with one performance on Saturday and another on Sunday, was attended by Test Valley Mayor Cllr Martin Hatley, with a collection for an Andover needy family.
The performance was videoed by Andover College, with all proceeds from the making of that to go to them.
The show was expertly produced and directed by Maz and taught by Emmeline.
