Good Morning. Andover is growing so fast now, it incorporates Weyhill, Balksbury Estate, K.A.W.E, Picket Twenty, Winchester Road, and out as far as Smannell.
It took Ian Carr and I an hour to drive round photographing the ‘Welcome to Andover signs’ for my blog.
Councillor Phil North’s vision for the future, is the exciting culmination of public meetings, held either in the Guildhall, Harris Hall, St Mary’s Church, The Pop Up Shop, or The Methodist Church which were also good opportunities to chat and discuss things with Andover Town Council, and Test Valley Borough Councillors.
These are truly thrilling times to be living in as we become the custodians of A New Andover
This week so far, I’ve had my flu vaccination at the Adelaide medical centre, blood test at Andover, and a heart scan at Winchester. We live within easy driving distance of both Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals, which is another reason for loving, and living in, Andover.
Early in the mornings is the absolute best time to view our town. I adore walking around marvelling at our historical buildings, smiling to myself, as I see how sensitively they have been reused to accommodate the changing shopping habits of modern times.
Wishing you all well. God Bless, Manuela
