Covid breach
A TEENAGER has been fined for breaching lockdown regulations.
Jordan Bever, of Picket Twenty Way, was found by police on Junction Way and fined for breaching coronavirus protection regulations.
The 19-year-old was fined £440, and Basingstoke Magistrates Court ordered him to pay a further £44 victim surcharge and costs of £100.
Drug Driving
A 20-YEAR-OLD has pleaded guilty to driving while unfit to do so through drugs.
Jared Rolfe, of Hogarth Court, was found on the eastbound carriageway of the A303 with 384 micrograms of benzoylecgonine – a metabolite of cocaine – per litre of blood when the legal limit is 50.
The 20-year-old was fined £390, as well as a victim surcharge of £39 and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 12 months.
Possession charge
A SURREY man has been accused of possession with intent to supply in Andover.
Adam Baker, of Chesterton, Ashford, is accused jointly of the possession of over 100g of cocaine.
The case was adjourned to November 9 at the request of the defence.
