The Garden of Remembrance at St Mary's fell silent today in memory of those who lost their lives in combat.
A select group of local dignitaries gathered next to the war memorial to commemorate those from the town who laid down their lives during World War One and World War Two.
Figures including MP Kit Malthouse and Leader of Test Valley Borough Council Cllr Phil North laid wreaths in honour of those who died, following the traditional two minutes silence.
The annual Service of Remembrance took place this year in the midst of the second national lockdown, with Covid-secure measures in place.
The public were not invited to attend the service this year, with only invited guests able to be at the service itself, standing on painted crosses to maintain social distancing.
However, some members of the public watched on from outside the garden itself, paying tribute to those who gave their lives for King and Country.
