POLICE are looking for a man who stole a car from Ludgershall and crashed it on Biddesden Lane before fleeing the scene on foot.
The single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a white Mitsubishi Colt happened on Saturday afternoon in Ludgershall.
Police said the car was reported stolen from an address in Ludgershall the same day.
The man has been described as a white male, aged in his 20s, wearing a grey tracksuit.
Wiltshire Police, in their witness appeal, have said: “At approximately 3.15pm we were called to the report of a single-vehicle collision involving a white Mitsubishi Colt which had ended up on its roof on Biddesden Lane.
“The driver, who has been described as a white male, aged in his 20s, wearing a grey tracksuit, got out of the vehicle and left the scene on foot.
“The vehicle was reported stolen from an address in Ludgershall the same day.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information in relation to the identity of the driver or the vehicle being stolen, is asked to call us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54210002450.”
