This month we asked members of Andover Advertiser Camera Club to share photographs related to new hobbies.
As always, the enthusiastic photographers of the group shared clicks from their new hobbies,
For some, the photo presented itself with a magnificent view on their walk. But some others had to wait for long for the perfect click.
Stuart James was lucky to catch the glimpse of a stoat while on his walk. But he was quick to click it, as he said: “What a morning, absolutely chuffed to bits to get a picture of this little fella on my walkabout. Never thought in a million years i would get a stoat/ermine on camera.”
But Allan Pothecary said in a post that he waited for about 20 minutes or more to click the photo of a Nuthatch in its typical arched back stance.
He said: “We spotted him because we heard the tapping sound of him breaking a nut to hide the pieces. He was about the height of a house and most of the time partially covered by branches until he came to the underside of this one. He was around for quite a long time flitting about all over the place.
“I waited about twenty minutes or more, following him about, to get this shot."
