MORE than 20,000 people in Hampshire have received both doses of a coronavirus vaccine - making it the fourth area with the highest number of jabs rolled out - according to NHS figures.
Statistics have been issued at a more localised level for the first time and show that a cumulative total of 166,417 vaccine jabs have been given to people across the county.
This means 146,285 residents have had their first dose, while 20,132 people have received their second.
The numbers cover the period from December 8, 2020, up until Sunday, January 17.
The data was collected through the National Immunisation Management Service (NIMS).
Of the first jabs administered, 74,107 were given to people aged 80 and over, while 72,178 went to those under 80.
The number of second jabs given to the public over 80-years-old was 17,162.
In comparison, 2,970 second doses were supplied to people under 80.
Across the whole of the south west 52,083 people have received both doses of the vaccine, with a further 363,004 having had just their first jab.
