EACH week, we select one of our readers’ gorgeous pets to feature in the paper as our ‘Pet of the Week’.
Whether they’re striking a pose, enjoying a walk, or showing their owner love and affection - we want to know why your trusty companion is the very best.
Cats, dogs, rabbits, as well as more unusual pets - all are welcome!
Here are just a few of our favourites from the past few months.

Sunbathing Katie
Katie the cat has been basking in the winter sunshine during lockdown at her home on Eardley Avenue, Andover.
Owner Valerie Brown’s daughter Sandie said: “This is a photo of my mum’s cat, Katie, enjoying a drop of sunshine last week.
“I hope she will make your readers smile as much as she did mum and I.”
Affectionate Akitas
Long-haired Akitas, Phoebe and Ralph may be the same breed, but their owners say the similarities end there.
They wrote: “Same breed but so different in character. Phoebe should have been called Spirit, she has that in abundance. Ralph a gentle giant. Both give us endless amounts of cuddles and enjoyment.”
Pampered Poppy
A very festive Poppy was posing after a day of TLC, said owner Kym Welsh.
Kym wrote: “Poppy has been for a VIP treatment at the salon and she is all ready for Christmas now!”
Faithful Brillo
At 13 years old, beautiful Brillo still loves to be active and go on long walks, according his owner Sandra Jackson.
Sandra wrote: “This is my dog Brillo. He loves his walks in the Andover countryside. “He is very faithful and positively the best dog I have ever owned, love him dearly.”
Inquisitive Honey
The gorgeous Honey lives in Picket Road in Picket Piece with her owner Wendy Soane.
The fluffy dog is an inquisitive animal who likes to have a nose out of the window, according to her owner.
Wendy wrote: “Honey just loves looking out of the window. She waits for the postman, the boy across the road and neighbours who walk by . They all stop and wave at her which makes her a very happy dog.”
