The Advertiser regularly prints public notices alerting the public to proposals whether by statutory authorities, private companies or individuals.
Borough of Basingstoke and Deane council has advertised for alterations to three buildings. These include one in London Road, Freefolk; and two in Newbury Street, Whitchurch.
The London Road house has applied for internal works to solve structural issues, additional window on east elevation, a conservation roof light on a hidden roof aspect, additional ventilation to the loft space and addition of an en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom.
The two Newbury Street applications are for reconstruction of porch and railings to frontage, and associated internal alterations to form entrance lobby.
The reason for public notice: Proposal affecting a Conservation Area and a Listed Building.
