A man has admitted trying to steal more than £400 of make-up from Boots.
Paul Benjamin Foakes-Tiffin, of Gardeners Green in Shipton Bellinger, took £240 of make-up from a Boots store in Andover on October 13, 2020.
He then stole £204 of No 7 serums on November 9.
The 45-year-old indicated guilty pleas to both charges whilst appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.
His case has been adjourned, pending a pre-sentence report.
He has been released on conditional bail, and must not enter any retail premises in Tidworth or Ludgershall, except for Tesco and Hedge Pharmacy.
An Andover man who allegedly assaulted two detention officers is set to stand trial.
Aaron Paul Pearce, of Poppy Close, is charged with assaulting Lucas Wicks and William Henderson-Parish in Basingstoke last Thursday (February 4).
The 44-year-old also denied assaulting a woman in Andover a day earlier.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court last week, Pearce elected trial by jury.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear before Winchester Crown Court on March 10.
A man has appeared in court accused of blackmail.
Luke James Bannerman, of Harding Close in Sutton Scotney, allegedly blackmailed a woman in November last year.
The 26-year-old is also accused of threatening to damage the woman’s car a day earlier, and threatening another person via a Facebook message.
The defendant will go before Winchester Crown Court on March 10.
He has been released on conditional bail, and must not enter a street in Sutton Scotney.
A man has been ordered to pay compensation after breaking a woman’s door.
Toby Michael Street, of Lords Way, admitted to damaging a pane of glass and a door in Andover on February 4.
The 31-year-old was ordered to pay £70 in compensation, whilst costs were waived.
A man from Surrey has been banned from driving for three years after being found behind the wheel whilst under the influence of cocaine and cannabis in Whitchurch.
Lee James Riley, of Hewlett Place in Bagshot, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa on Micheldever Road in June 2020 whilst over the drug-drive limit.
He was found to have breakdown products of both cocaine and cannabis in his system.
The 34-year-old was fined £200 for each offence, and disqualified from driving for three years.
He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and costs of £30.
