Nearly 400,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, statistics reveal.
Healthcare professionals across the two counties have administered 397,827 doses since December.
The number increased by 94,624 in the last week, and are correct as of February 7, 2021.
The region has seen the fifth highest number of doses given, sitting behind Cumbria and North East, Cheshire and Merseyside, Great Manchester, and West Yorkshire and Harrogate.
Nearly 95 per cent of over 80s have received their first dose, whilst roughly 99.8 per cent of people aged 75-79 have had at least one dose.
The figures also reveal 69.15 per cent of adults aged 70-74 have had their first dose.
Earlier this week, the government asked anyone aged 70 and over, or are considered clinically extremely vulnerable, to get in contact to book an appointment.
At the moment the focus remains on the top four groups which include all those over 70, health and social care workers, care home residents, their carers and people deemed to be clinically extremely vulnerable to the virus.
The Prime Minister set a target for all the people in these group to be offered a Covid-19 vaccine by February 15.
As previously reported, doctors in north Hampshire are now beginning to invite people aged 65-69 to have their vaccines too.
People aged 65-69 are in the fifth priority group. However, people in this group are being urged not to contact their GPs, and wait for them to get in touch.
Watership Down, which was voted the best GP surgery in north Hampshire last July, said on Facebook that patients in the correct cohort will receive a text from the practice enabling them to make an appointment at the Hampshire Court Hotel.
"For those with no mobile phone number, we or the Call Handlers at the Covid Vaccination Hub will telephone all remaining patients," the spokesperson continued. "You will not be missed.
"As the number of venues to have Covid vaccinations increases, please do let us know if you have the vaccine or an appointment elsewhere. This is best done via our website.
"After three attempts to call a patient, we will then write to the address that we have on file. If you have moved or are planning to get the vaccine elsewhere, then please let us know."
