ALWAYS wanted to work with animals? Then we may have found the perfect role for you.
Marwell Zoo is on the hunt for a new keeper to look after its carnivores including Amur Tigers, Cheetahs and Snow Leopards.
The Hampshire zoo currently has one full time role (40 hours per week) listed on its website, but sadly, not just anyone can apply.
The park is looking for applicants who have a strong generalist background with zoological experience, and previous work with carnivores is desirable.
The role requires someone who can work well as part of a team, who will use their initiative and possesses excellent communication skills.
The successful applicant must have a minimum level 3 DMZAA or equivalent qualification in animal management or biological sciences.
Day to day job responsibilities include husbandry routines, managerial operations and environmental enrichment, and supporting veterinary intervention.
The zoo describes themselves as a ‘unique and vibrant organisation’ that will offer support, training and continued professional development.
