Ocado thief
A MAN who stole more than £1,500 worth of power tools from the Ocado warehouse has pleaded guilty.
Matthew James Knight, of Greenbirch Close in Kempshott, admitted to trespassing at the Ocado warehouse in Andover on January 5 and 8, 2020.
He then made off with a total of £1,739 worth of power tools.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, and was ordered to carry out community service.
He must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work over the next year, and was ordered to pay compensation of £1,739.
Sent for trial
AN ANDOVER man will be tried on charges of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Kadeem James Hibbert, of Livia Close, is charged with conspiring with others to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
The offences are alleged to have happened between November 2019 and March 2020 in Winchester.
The 19-year-old will be tried at Winchester Crown Court on March 10. He has been released on bail and must sleep at his Livia Close address.
Pleas have not yet been entered.
Knife charge
A WOMAN has indicated guilty pleas on charges of having blades in public.
Natasha Jones, of Sheep Fair, is charged with having blades in Andover on August 13, a kitchen knife and razor blades on August 17, and another knife on August 19.
She is also charged with attempting to damage vehicles belonging to Hampshire Constabulary.
The 21-year-old was given a community order, and must complete up to 30 days of rehabilitation activities as well as complete 100 hours of unpaid work.
She was also ordered to pay £180.
Guilty Plea
A PENTON MEWSEY man has pleaded guilty to two charges of assault.
Maximillian Samuel Stacy, of Malthouse Cottages, was charged with assaulting Police Constable Simon Pascoe on December 23 2019, as well as Raymond Graham Burnett.
The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to both offences, and was ordered to pay compensation and costs totalling £535.
Arrest Warrant
A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a Laverstoke man.
Sean David Williams, of London Road, has been charged with damaging two doors belonging to Ian Rhys Williams to the value of £670.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court issued a warrant for the 29-year-old’s arrest.
