ZOOPLA has revealed the how much property prices have increase in popular areas of Hampshire over the last 12 months.
Hampshire is full of unique places to live in, with plenty of stunning beauty spots, scenic villages and commutable areas near larger towns and cities.
The coronavirus pandemic has also caused a rethink their housing needs as people no longer need to commute to offices if their jobs can be effectively carried out at home.
With the stamp duty holiday extended from the end of March until the end of June it could be the perfect time to think about moving.
Aspiring home-buyers could also benefit from a new 5% deposit mortgage scheme, which will be available to current home-owners as well as first-time buyers looking for a property for up to £600,000.
To help you consider your move, Zoopla has revealed how much house prices have increased in these seven popular areas of the county in the last 12 months.
- Isle of Wight- Current value £280,629 an increase of £21,331 (8.23 per cent)
- New Forest- Current value £443,987 an increase of £29,727 (7.18 per cent)
- Andover- Current value £328,446 an increase of £17,841 (5.74 per cent)
- Winchester- Current value £572,285 an increase of £28,569 (5.25 per cent)
- Portsmouth- Current value £250,319 an increase of £11,004 (4.54 per cent)
- Southampton- Current value £307,461 an increase of £6,968 (2.32 per cent)
- Basingstoke- Current value £331,717 an increase of £1,607 (0.48 per cent)
