MORE than 100 firefighters are tackling a blaze that is ravaging a row of thatched cottages.
The incident, which is taking place at three properties at The Barracks, Bransbury, near Winchester, is ongoing.
Firefighters from Andover, Sutton Scotney, Stockbridge, Whitchurch, Overton, Basingstoke, Eastleigh, Winchester, St Mary’s, Rushmoor, Newbury and Ludgershall were mobilised at 4.17pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said that currently no casualties have been reported.
They added: "Crews are expecting to be on scene for some time.
"Emergency vehicles will be in the area throughout the night."
Officers from Hampshire Police and South Central Ambulance Service are currently at the scene.
Bransbury Lane has been closed by police officers.
The British Red Cross have also been requested to provide emergency support for the occupants.
