CHANNEL 4 is on the lookout for ‘ordinary’ people who think they have got what it takes to solve a harrowing crime.
True crime fans will get to try their hand at becoming detectives to see if they can solve a murder by identifying a suspect and bringing them to justice.
Contestants will have police resources at their disposal from pathologists to forensic scientists and psychologists.
The new series created by production company STV Studios, put a callout for contestants on Twitter, asking: "Do you have what it takes to solve a murder mystery?"

“STV Studios are making a brand-new television series for Channel 4 and are looking for teams of ordinary British people to try their hand at becoming detectives to solve a murder mystery.
“We are looking for teams of two to take on the case. The civilian ‘detectives’ will have police resources at their disposal – pathologists, forensic scientists, psychologists etc. They will be competing to see if they can be the first to identify the suspect and bring them to justice.”
Before applying, people should make sure they have a team of two that are interested - whether it be couples, friends, colleagues or family members.
Filming is due to take place in May and will adhere to Covid safety protocols.
Applicants will also be asked to upload a picture and video as part of the application, which before the deadline of Sunday 28 March.
