Two recovery vehicles were required to lift a lorry which had fallen onto its side on Portway Roundabout.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 1pm after the lorry toppled onto its side. No other vehicle was involved in the incident.
Traffic delays lasted much of the afternoon and early evening, with one lane of Churchill Way West, northbound, closed initially, and then the entire roundabout closed while the vehicle was recovered.
It was later towed away by recovery vehicles.
