A drive-in cinema in North Way has applied for a new licence to reopen as Covid restrictions ease in the UK.
German Events Limited is applying for the new grant of a premises licence for car park at Finkley Down Farm, North Way, Andover SP11 6NF.
If granted, the application will allow the provision of drive-in cinema and late night refreshment.
The drive-in cinema first opened in North Way in September 2020, but had closed later.
German Events hosts pop-up bars and grills across the UK, such as Mojito Beach Bar events, as well as hosting Bristol’s annual Christmas Market.
The application for drive-in cinema is among the many public notices published in the Advertiser, alerting the public to proposals whether by statutory authorities, private companies or individuals.
Another public notice advertises for excavation and creation of three areas of wetland ponds, involving fifteen ponds linked by channels and swales with associated earthworks at Lower Link Farm Lower Link in St Mary Bourne in Andover.
It also has an above-ground settlement tank, parabolic screens, pumphouse and hardstanding, new below-ground pipework, a pipe bridge and pumphouse, discharge channels to the Bourne Rivulet. It involves flow monitoring, wetland habitat creation, landscaping and flood compensation, and temporary construction compound.
