TICKET sales have begun for a 'Covid-compliant' festival taking place in Hampshire this summer.
CarFest South – created by broadcaster Chris Evans and hosted at the Laverstoke Park Farm owned by former F1 champion Jody Scheckter – was cancelled last year but is planning to return this year in a Covid safe manner.
It is scheduled to be held from August 27 to 29.
Rick Astley, James Bay, James Blunt, All Saints and McFly are some of the big names taking to the music stage over the course of the August bank holiday weekend.
Meanwhile, Candice Brown, James Martin and Prue Leith will take to the kitchen stage, sharing some great cookery tips.
Plus The CarFest Supergroup will take to the stage, featuring comedian Rob Brydon, dancer Kevin Clifton and the Kaiser Chief's Ricky Wilson.
CarFest was created by Evans in 2012 with the purpose of raising funds for UK Children’s charities and over the past nine years has successfully raised over £16million for BBC Children in Need.
In 2021 Camp CarFest aims to raise a further £2million for its charity partners - BBC Children In Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rainbow Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust.
You can buy your tickets online at www.carfest.org.
