A man was caught driving at nearly 100 miles per hour on the A303.
William Connor Gilson, of Salisbury Road, was caught behind the wheel of a Mercedes CLA travelling at 98 miles per hour in January.
The 24-year-old admitted to the charge via the single justice procedure at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on Monday, and was fined £323.
He must also pay costs of £90, a victim surcharge of £34 and had six points put on his licence.
A man will appear in court next month after being accused of stealing £13 of alcohol from Lidl last week.
Douglas Peter Strike, of Welham Court, allegedly took the alcohol from the Andover branch on April 21.
It is then said the 32-year-old assaulted a man, and it is claimed to have come just days after he damaged the interior wall of a property belonging to Aster.
Strike was remanded into custody and will next appear before Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on May 14.
A man has been fined after having cannabis in Andover.
Ashley Marshall, of Acre Court, pleaded guilty to being in possession of the Class B drug in the town on March 15.
He was fined a total of £199.
An Andover man has been fined after he failed to respond to a request from police.
Daniel Mainea, of Galahad Close, was sent a notice of intended prosecution from Dorset Police after his vehicle was alleged to have committed an offence. However, the 31-year-old failed to respond.
Appearing at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, he was fined £660, ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £66. Six points was also put on his licence.
An offence of speeding on the A338 between Ringwood and Bournemouth in a Mercedes in November 2020 was withdrawn.
A man from Andover has been fined after it was found three tyres on his Renault Clio were not roadworthy.
Iliyan Dakev, of Forge Field, had illegal tread depths on both rear tyres and the front nearside tyre whilst out on New Street on November 30, 2020. The 28-year-old was fined £440 for each tyre at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
He was further ordered to pay total costs of £222 and had three points put on his licence.
