With so many Covid restrictions still in place, it can be hard to know what to do at the weekend.
For those that don’t fancy heading to the pub or hitting the shops we have a whole list of activities you can try.
Wether you are looking for an action-packed day out with friends or some quiet couple time, Hampshire has something for everyone.
Here are five things you can do outside in Hampshire with six people or less.
Paddle board or Kayak
What better way to wind down welcome in summer than spending your weekend in the New Forest?
The New Forest Paddle Sport Company has a wide range of boards to choose from including inflatable, solid and touring boards - prices for two hours start at £25.
If your balance really isn't that great or you fancy something a bit more traditional, they also have single and double kayaks for hire starting at £20 for two hours.
You can also try out canoes and paddle boards at Woodmill Outdoor Activity Centre in Southampton or join a guided canoe paddle to the Pub with New Forest Activities in Beaulieu.
Paintballing
Paintballing is one of the licensed outdoor physical activities that you can do in groups of more than six.
Hampshire is home to several Paintball companies, you can find outdoor paintballing in Southampton, Winchester, Portsmouth, Alton and the New Forest.
Prices vary at each location depending on what package you are looking for, but prices start from £10.
Mini golf
A family favourite and a great way to spend a day or just an afternoon. Mini golf is the ideal activity for a catch up with your friends or family and get a bit of exercise.
Hampshire is home to several mini golf courses, including a Tropical Tidal Bay themed course in Basingstoke and a Dinosaur themed course in Southampton.
Other mini golf courses can be found in the Lymington, Andover, Gosport and Alton.
If you want grown up time, why not try golf, there are plenty of great courses in Hampshire to try out.
Clay pigeon shooting
There are a number of locations to shoot clay pigeon across Hampshire.
Clay pigeon shooting involves shooting flying clays with a shotgun and is a safe, controlled and challenging sport.
The Big Shoot in Winchester is suitable for all abilities from complete beginners to the experienced shot.
Basingstoke, Fareham and the New Forest also offer clay pigeon shooting.
Activity farms and Zoos
Looking for a some family fun? Why not spend the day with animals and visit an activity farm or a zoo.
Finkley Down Farm and Long Down Dairy Farm offer animal handling and feeding activities for children to get involved in.
If you fancy looking at more exotic animals from a distance, try Marwell zoo or the New Forest Wildlife Park.
