A MAN from Andover has denied racially aggravated assault.
Neil Christopher Farley is accused of the assault by beating of a man in Newbury.
The court heard that the attack, which is said to have taken place on September 12, 2019, was allegedly racially aggravated.
Farley, of Belmont Road, has denied the charge and will now stand trial later this year.
The 54-year-old was released on unconditional bail pending the trial at Reading Magistrates’ Court on August 16.
