A MAN stole eight cans of lager and assaulted a man in Amesbury, a court has heard.
Keith Langley Mills, from Ludgershall, stole the cans of Special Brew valued at £16 on November 2, 2020 from a Co-Op store in Amesbury, and assaulted a man on the same day.
Appearing at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court last month, Mills, of Levell Court, was given a six-month conditional discharge, meaning he will not be punished for these offences if he does not commit another offence in this period.
The 43-year-old was also ordered to pay a total of £66 compensation, a victim surcharge of £22 and costs of £30.
