ANDOVER police have issued a tongue-in-cheek message to a passenger who left his stash of cannabis in the back of a taxi.
They have invited the unlucky person, who was travelling in a cab across Andover, to pop into the police station to collection their items.
Included in the stash of stuff is a grinder, a packet of 120 filter tips, some Vaseline and two packets of rolling papers.
A spokesman for Test Valley Police wrote: "Imagine you get a taxi across Andover, you are in a hurry and you remember you left your belongings on the back seat. Don't worry though, we have it at the nick. Just pop in to claim in. Bring ID - and maybe an overnight bag."
The cheeky message has raised a smile with Andover residents, with one writing: "This is too good."
