PIZZA lovers in Andover are set to gain a new takeaway store.
Italian eatery Fireaway, which has 60 outlets across the UK, will be opening a branch at 8 Bridge Street in Andover on July 13.
It is part of the London-founded company’s plan to open 25 new outlets in 25 weeks.
The town-based takeaway will be open from noon to 11pm seven days a week with residents able to order pizza through takeaway services Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
The company said it has enjoyed growth since launching in London in 2016 and is hoping to double its number of outlets by the end of 2021.
A spokesperson said: “Founder Mario Aleppo set out to create an unrivalled pizza experience by going to Italy and meeting farmers who now send him their choicest peeled tomatoes directly from Naples.
“He then negotiated with mills in northern Italy who prepare the flour to his own specifications.”
“These are brought together on a daily basis to ensure freshness and baked for no more than three minutes in 400 degrees oven.”
The customers will have a choice of four bases, four cheeses, four meats and 20 toppings, all available for the same price.
Among them is the Nutella Pizza, which the firm says is unique to Fireaway.
Mr Aleppo said: “We like to innovate and have also introduced the full range of gluten-free and vegan options to ensure there is something for everyone.”
