CAN you give any of these pets a forever home?
The Blue Cross look after hundreds of furry friends that are all looking for a family of their own – including these cats in Hampshire.
If you think you would be able to rehome one of them go to the Blue Cross website for full contact details and to find out more.
You can also donate money to the charity to help it carry on its rescue work by visiting the same website.
Billy
Billy is a 9 year old Domestic Short Hair. He is looking for a very special home with an understanding owner who will allow him the time and space he needs to settle in.
He is worried by new environments which means he needs to feel safe when he goes to his new home.
He will need to be set up in a quiet room to call his own until he has found his feet. Once he feels more settled, he loves to spend time with his human friends.
He enjoys lots of head tickles and has the biggest purr!
Sometimes he likes to roll over and have his belly tickled. Billy enjoys curling up next to you on the sofa and falling asleep, he will happily stay there all day if he could, he even snores! He can be quite playful and enjoys chasing rod toys and ping pong balls around. Billy is not used to the outdoors, he would like a quiet, secure outside space where he can wander around and explore in peace.
His new home will need to be quiet without too many comings and goings.
He will need to be the only pet and would prefer not to live with children, but will be a wonderful companion for someone.
Winnie
Winnie is an 11 year old Domestic Short Hair. Although he’s an older chap, he is still very active and loves to play.
This can mean that he can jump out and pounce on his human’s feet, so he will need a confident owner who is accepting of this and is happy to have lots of toys for him to play with.
Winnie does have a sensitive side so he will need a quiet home that will allow him to settle at his own pace.
He will need a quiet room to call his owner when he first arrives, but he does make friends fairly quickly and enjoys coming over to rub around your legs.
He likes the odd stroke but is quite independent so doesn’t sit for long.
He is looking for a home where he can access the outside as he used to like exploring the outside world. He is also looking to be the only pet in the home and would rather not live with young children.
