SINCE The Advertiser launched our Pet Idol competition last month, we have been overwhelmed with entries.

And they will be printed in a special supplement in next week's Advertiser where the public will be able to vote for the best pet.

Whether it’s a four-legged friend, brightly-coloured bird or fascinating fish, they become part of the family. A cherished part of our day-to-day life.

The winner will get the title Pet Idol 2021 and will win a £50 voucher.

This is a joint competition with our sister newspaper, The Basingstoke Gazette, with entries printed in both titles.
