A MAN from Overton has been fined and banned from driving after riding a bike without a licence or insurance in Surrey.
Rodrigo Rafael Olsen Da Silva, of The Green, was riding a KSR Moto on the A31 Farnham By-Pass on August 3, 2020, when he did not have a licence or insurance.
The 35-year-old had admitted the offence via the single justice procedure in January, but was disqualified from holding a driving licence for six months at a full court hearing at Staines Magistrates' Court on Friday (June 4).
He was also fined a total of £500 - £400 for driving without insurance and £100 for driving without a licence.
Da Silva was also ordered to pay costs of £110 and a victim surcharge of £50.
