THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in Andover tomorrow, with risks of flooding.
"Areas of persistent and sometimes heavy rain may lead to localised flooding and travel disruption", it says.
The warning, which was announced this morning (Saturday, June 26), will come into force at 2pm on Sunday, June 27, and last until 7am on Monday, June 28.
It covers much of the south west of England, and anyone planning to head out on the roads are urged to take extra care and plan ahead.
What to expect
- Spray and flooding will lead to difficult driving conditions and perhaps some road closures
- Where flooding occurs, there may be delays or cancellations to train and bus services
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
- There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater
