AN ANDOVER man has been banned from holding a drivers licence for a month after he admitted not having insurance whilst driving.
Toby James Calladine, of Chantry Street, was caught behind the wheel of the vehicle on Salisbury Road on December 2, 2020.
He admitted that the car was not insured.
Appearing before Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, the 28-year-old pleaded guilty and was given a one month driving ban.
He was also fined £280, and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £34 victim surcharge.
A second charge of driving whilst disqualified was dropped.
