The monthly theme for Andover Advertiser Camera Club for August was night photography. The theme produced incredible pictures as the shutterbugs of Andover showed their best skills in capturing the beauty of the town and nearby areas in the dark.
Here are some of the photos shared by the camera club members in the Facebook group.
There were a few stunning moon pictures, however we could not include all of them. The one we selected is taken by Den Whatley, who captured a waxing gibbous moon. The members also shared beautiful night pictures from their gardens, while Jamie Hyndman captured a stunning bird’s eye view of Weyhill Road roundabout using a drone.
Congratulations to the members whose photos are selected. Do not be disappointed if your pic is not in this list. The theme for September will be announced in the Facebook group soon. Continue to share your photos in the group.
It is free and easy to join the camera club. Simply search Andover Advertiser Camera Club on Facebook and click join.
Each week we select a photo from the group and publish in the letters pate of the edition as the picture of the week.
The group also has a monthly theme. Best photos from the theme will be published on print and online in the last week of each month.
