Last week has seen many of the region’s schools welcome back their staff and students.

The schools continue to welcome students in the coming days.

For many, it will be their first day ever, whether they’re starting primary or making the leap to high school.

We’ve been asking the Advertiser readers from across Andover to share photos of their youngsters’ as they set off for their first day.

From first day of school or back to classroom, we have been getting photos from many proud parents and grandparents.

Hopefully it’s been a time of shiny shoes, bright white polo tops and smiles, and there are still more schools back in business next week.
