A BUS driver who crashed into the bridge on Charlton Road, tearing the roof off his double decker bus, is still awaiting sentencing almost two years after the incident.
Andrew McAuley, of Pinefield Road in Southampton, was allegedly driving a Scania double decker bus in Andover on November 12, 2019, when he hit the bridge.
He was charged with driving without due care and attention.
The 56-year-old was due to appear at the traffic court in Aldershot on Monday, but the case was adjourned due to "unforeseen circumstances".
McAuley's case has previously been adjourned several times because of Covid.
He is now due to appear before Aldershot Magistrates' Court on October 4.
