Unpaid work
AN ANDOVER man has been handed 120 hours of unpaid worked after breaching his community order.
Dean Bradley Atkins, of King George Road, was given a community order in January 2019 for four counts of assault by beating against a man and a woman.
The 31-year-old failed to meet the contact requirements issued, and was dealt with for the original offences on October 25.
He must attend appointments with a probation officer, as well as completing 120 hours of unpaid work over the next year.
Dangerous driving

The 19-year-old was charged with driving on a pavement and colliding with a bollard; driving without correct license and insurance; and failing to stop and provide information to police both at the scene and at Basingstoke police station three days later.
However, on October 25, the prosecutor withdrew the charges at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court, and the case was discontinued.

David Roderick Elbourn, of Quicksilver Way, pleaded guilty in January to three counts of assault by beating of emergency workers.
On November 12, 2020, he attacked police officers Thomas Stewart, Rhianwen Evans and Luke Boxall while they were on duty.
On October 25 2021, at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court, the 58-year-old was handed a £200 fine.
He will also have to pay £120 in compensation costs.
