A MAJOR road in Overton has been closed due to a collapse of pipework on the stretch.
Southern Water has confirmed that B3400 High Street has been closed for emergency repairs.
A diversion is in place and according to current estimates, the road will be closed until Friday, November 19.
A Facebook post by Hampshire County Council said: “Following the collapse of pipework in the road, Southern Water has had to close the B3400 High Street, Overton, for emergency repairs.
“A diversion is in place and the current estimates are that the road will be closed until November 19.
“Details can be found on One Network.”
Meanwhile Stagecoach South has confirmed that Service 76 will be unable to serve Freefolk and Laverstoke.
It has stated that this is due to the emergency road closure.
The service will be diverting via the A303 and A34. The diversion is expected until Friday, November 19.
