AN ANDOVER couple that opened a massage place in 2019 is stepping up their business following their success in serving the community and supporting the Andover Town FC for nearly four seasons.

Caroline and Darren Cross are growing from offering just evening and weekend appointments to daytime weekday services after helping the Andover FC players with an injury clinic.

The couple’s massage clinic named Cross Therapy, which is located at the Andover Town FC, has played a big role in the football club’s recent successes.

“Andover Town FC were almost last in the league table when we joined them four seasons ago. The team are now sitting second in the table, winning most games they play and are hoping for promotion at the end of the season,” said Caroline, who is excited about their long-standing partnership with the local club.

“We run a weekly injury clinic for players and assist on match days and feel the work we do with the players massively pays off and helps them perform at their best.

“We also had another success that came along recently. We were invited to become tutors at The Oxford School of Sports Massage, the same place we trained and qualified from in 2019.

“It is an absolute honour to assist waves of new students along their journey of becoming therapists.”

Caroline who has been working part-time elsewhere is now leaving the job to focus fully on her Andover business and become her own boss.

But the past two years have not been easy for the couple.

“Our main issue was starting a business and then being shut down by lockdown,” Caroline said.

“But we have only ever moved onwards and upwards with the success of our business.
